How to change your Steam nickname
It works the same way as changing your avatar.
- Open Steam, click the square with your avatar in the top right corner of the screen, then go to “My Profile”.
- Click “Edit Profile” and enter the profile name you want on the first screen.
The “Profile name” is shown in games, and the real name is shown when someone views your profile.
