Create strong and unique passwords

Use at least 12 characters. Mix upper- and lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Use a separate password for each wallet.

Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)

It’s better to use apps (Google Authenticator, Authy) rather than text messages. For critical services, turn on backup recovery codes.

Store your seed phrase securely

Write it down on paper and keep it in a safe place. Never save your seed phrase on your phone, in the cloud or on a computer.

Look after your devices

Keep your OS, browsers and apps up to date. Never install software from untrusted sources.

Check websites and apps

Check the app developer and the number of downloads in the stores. Don’t follow suspicious links in emails and messengers.

Set limits on operations

If possible, set limits on transfers or multi-step confirmation for large amounts.
