We’ve collected some common reasons why wallets get blocked. We hope these examples help you avoid having your e-wallet blocked.

1. Suspected fraudulent activity

This can include large transfers, frequent logins from different IP addresses or countries, and transfers to blacklisted wallets.

Example: If your wallet receives money from scammers, the service may block your account for a check.

2. Breaking the platform rules

Violating the user agreement. Using the wallet for gambling, betting or prohibited activities.

3. Not meeting KYC (identity verification) requirements

  • Refusing to provide, or providing incorrect, verification documents.
  • Errors in registration data (different names, fake passports).

4. Complaints from other users

  • If someone has repeatedly reported fraud or an unjustified transaction dispute on your part.
  • Example: a common problem in P2P crypto trading: the buyer pays and then disputes the transfer, and the wallet is blocked while it is investigated.

5. Automatic checks

Anti-fraud systems block accounts automatically if something looks suspicious.

Example: Several large transfers to your wallet in a row can trigger an automatic block for 24–72 hours.
